Amr khalifa
As part of its ongoing spiritual and intellectual dynamism within Europe, the Qadiriyya Budshishiyya Order, one of the largest Sufi orders in Morocco and the world, announced the launch of a series of religious and scholarly events across the European continent, specifically in Spain, France, and England. These events are being led by its Sheikh, Dr. Mounir al-Qadiri Budshish, President of the Al-Multaqa Foundation.
Dr Moulay Mounir al-Qadiri Budshish began his official tour in Barcelona, Spain, where he delivered a prominent scholarly and intellectual lecture at the Al-Tawba Islamic Cultural Center, entitled: “The Civilizational Dimension of the Prophetic Message: Spiritual Values and Ethical Principles.” This lecture served as a platform to highlight the human and civilisational dimensions of Islam, and the capacity of its spiritual values to promote social peace, coexistence, and intercultural dialogue, particularly in contemporary European societies characterised by cultural and religious pluralism.
In his presentation, Sheikh Dr. Boudchich emphasised the spiritual and civilisational influence of the Kingdom of Morocco, showcasing the unique Moroccan model of moderate and tolerant religiosity. He explained that this model derives its strength and stability from the wise religious leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful. Dr Mounir El Kadiri stated that the presence of the Qadiri Boudchichi Sufi order in Europe is not merely a fleeting activity, but rather an extension of a universal message that seeks to present Islam in its true form, based on love, peace, and spiritual beauty.
The Role of the “Commander of the Faithful” and the Moroccan Model
Al-Qadiri continued, “The Kingdom of Morocco, under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, presents the world with a vibrant and distinguished model of moderate and balanced religiosity.

Dialogue of Cultures and Global Citizenship
“Boudchichi added,” he continued, “The humanitarian dimensions of the Prophet Muhammad’s message transcend geographical boundaries. What we are witnessing today in our meetings in Europe the remarkable interest shown by European citizens of various nationalities in the values of the Sufi order reflects a profound thirst for high moral values. We do not advocate isolation.
The intellectual gathering witnessed a remarkable and distinguished attendance of many followers, both men and women, along with broad participation from various European nationalities.
