KASUR: Al Mustafa Welfare Trust, in collaboration with Al Mustafa Eye Hospital Lahore, organised a free eye camp in Faqeeria Wala Village, Tehsil Kasur, District Kasur, providing free medical examinations, eye surgeries, spectacles, medicines and other essential services to hundreds of local residents.
Held on 24 September 2026, the camp received 720 patients at its outpatient department, including 403 women and 317 men.
Medical teams performed 60 eye surgeries, comprising 33 female and 27 male patients. A total of 321 patients were provided with vision glasses/spectacles, while 13 patients underwent refraction tests.
The camp also included screening for Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B and HIV. Seventy-one patients were tested for each of the three conditions. Two patients tested positive for HCV, while no positive cases were recorded for HBsAg or HIV. Three diabetic patients were also identified during the camp.
Patients were provided with free medicines, spectacles, lenses and other necessary medical supplies.
