The USA and Iran have drastically escalated military hostilities following the collapse of a 60-day ceasefire. A newly reinstated US naval blockade has ignited intense exchanges of airstrikes, drone attacks, and missile barrages across the region. The US launched massive consecutive waves of airstrikes targeting Iranian command canters, air defence systems, and missile sites. While initially concentrated on the southern coast (such as the port of Bandar Abbas), strikes have expanded further north to Semnan province and triggered air defences in the capital city of Tehran.
