KASUR: Al Mustafa Welfare Trust organised a one-day free eye camp in the village of Sahjra, on the outskirts of Kasur, providing free eye screening and treatment facilities to local residents.
A total of 456 people underwent comprehensive eye examinations using modern diagnostic equipment. Patients requiring further assistance were provided with prescription spectacles and medicines free of charge.
Following medical examinations, 38 patients were diagnosed with cataracts and recommended for surgery. They will undergo cataract operations next week at Al Mustafa Eye Hospital Lahore, at no cost.
The free eye camp is part of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust’s continuing efforts to provide accessible eye care and restore vision among underprivileged communities.
