Cholistan, Pakistan: Al Mustafa Welfare Trust Pakistan has organised a plantation drive in the vast expanse of the Cholistan Desert, bringing together dozens of enthusiastic volunteers to promote environmental protection and a greener future.
The volunteers planted saplings across the desert as part of the Trust’s ongoing efforts to expand tree plantation and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.
The initiative carries particular significance in Cholistan, where the harsh desert climate and vast stretches of arid land present major environmental challenges. Organisers said every sapling planted in the desert represents a step towards a cleaner environment and a more sustainable future.
Al Mustafa Welfare Trust said its commitment to environmental protection would continue alongside its broader humanitarian work, with efforts focused on encouraging communities and volunteers to participate in plantation and conservation activities.
The Trust has urged people to take part in tree-planting initiatives and help transform barren areas into greener spaces for future generations.
