Islamabad: Project Manager of the United Sikh Organisation, Sardar Gurbir Singh, and Sardar Sardeep Singh visited the head office of Al Mustafa Pakistan, Al Mustafa Dastarkhwan and Al Mustafa Eye Hospital as part of efforts to explore greater cooperation in humanitarian and community welfare initiatives.
During their visit, the Sikh community representatives met Nusrat Saleem, Managing Director Al Mustafa Pakistan, and the Medical Superintendent of Al Mustafa Eye Hospital. The meetings focused on opportunities for joint initiatives aimed at serving communities in need.
It was agreed that Al Mustafa Welfare Trust will organise a free eye camp on Thursday, September 24, at Gurdwara Sri Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib, one of the most important religious and historical centres of the Sikh community worldwide.
The eye camp will provide free eye screening and medical assistance to members of the Sikh community and other people requiring eye-care services.
The Sikh leaders appreciated Al Mustafa Welfare Trust’s humanitarian work and its welfare initiatives in Pakistan and other parts of the world. They also expressed their willingness to cooperate with the organisation in future projects aimed at serving humanity without discrimination.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to strengthen joint efforts in humanitarian service and community welfare, reflecting the shared commitment to supporting people in need and promoting interfaith cooperation through practical initiatives.
