Islamabad: Al Mustafa Welfare Trust and the Ghod Organisation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work jointly for the welfare and social development of the nomadic community. The signing ceremony was held at the Conference Hall of Al Mustafa Eye Hospital, where the MoU was signed by Nusrat Saleem, Managing Director Al Mustafa Pakistan, and Nazir Ahmed Ghazi, Executive Director of Ghod Organisation.
The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the two organisations and facilitate welfare initiatives for members of the nomadic community, particularly in areas requiring social support and access to basic services.
Representatives of Ghod Organisation attending the ceremony included Gulshan Hassan, Programme Manager; Manahil Nazir, Education Coordinator; Ayesha Najmi, Social Mobiliser; and Muhammad Sadaqat.
Representing Al Mustafa Welfare Trust were Dr Khalid bin Aslam, Muhammad Nawaz Kharl, Amberin Shafiq, Amina Sawaira, Aman Pasha, Syed Faraz Hassan Shah, Mawri Butt, Sameera Ejaz and Shams-ul-Hadi.
The signing marks a new step towards coordinated efforts by the two organisations to support vulnerable communities and promote their social inclusion and access to welfare and educational opportunities.
