Kot Addu, Pakistan: Al Mustafa Welfare Trust’s Clean Water Project continues to provide access to safe drinking water to underserved communities across Kot Addu district, where hundreds of hand pumps and solar-powered community water wells have been installed over the years.
During a recent visit to different settlements in Kot Addu, Nusrat Saleem, Managing Director Al Mustafa Pakistan, inspected hand pumps installed by the organisation to facilitate access to clean water for local communities.
Ms Saleem also distributed gifts among children during her visit and met members of communities benefiting from the water project.
The project has been operating successfully for several years in settlements including Chah Matra Wala, Mauza Patti Sultan Mahmood, Chah Bane Wala and Mauza Patti Ghulam Ali Gharbi, as well as other areas across Kot Addu district.
The initiative is part of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust’s wider clean-water programme, through which hundreds of hand pumps and solar-powered community water wells have been installed in underprivileged communities across Pakistan.
Access to clean drinking water remains a fundamental need for vulnerable communities, and such projects provide a practical means of improving daily life and public well-being in areas where reliable water sources are limited.
Al Mustafa Welfare Trust has appealed to philanthropists and members of the public to support its humanitarian mission of providing clean water to people in need.
