LAHORE: A delegation of the Pakistan Red Crescent Punjab Branch visited the head office of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust in Lahore to explore possibilities of cooperation and joint humanitarian initiatives.
The delegation comprised Secretary Pakistan Red Crescent Punjab Branch Rao Zaka-ur-Rehman, Manager Media and Communications Wardah Mahmood, and photographer Sakhawat Ali.
During the visit, the delegation toured the Al Mustafa Eye Hospital and Al Mustafa Dastarkhwan, where they were briefed about the welfare and humanitarian services being provided by Al Mustafa Welfare Trust.
Managing Director Al Mustafa Pakistan Nusrat Saleem and Medical Superintendent Al Mustafa Eye Hospital Dr Khalid bin Aslam briefed the visiting delegation on the Trust’s various welfare projects and humanitarian programmes in Pakistan and other countries.
The meeting also included detailed consultations on a proposed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at developing cooperation between the Pakistan Red Crescent Punjab Branch and Al Mustafa Welfare Trust in areas of humanitarian assistance and community welfare.
Secretary Pakistan Red Crescent Punjab Branch Rao Zaka-ur-Rehman appreciated the welfare and humanitarian services of Al Mustafa Welfare Trust and expressed the Red Crescent’s willingness to support and cooperate with Al Mustafa in its efforts for the betterment of humanity.
The two sides also discussed avenues for strengthening institutional cooperation and working together on future humanitarian initiatives.
