LAHORE: Chairman Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust Abdul Razzaq Sajid and senior UK-based journalist Raja Faiz Sultan visited the Al-Mustafa Dastarkhwan in Lahore, where they personally served meals to visitors, shared food with them and enquired about their concerns.
During the visit, both guests interacted with people dining at the facility, listened to their experiences and asked about the challenges they face. They served meals with their own hands and sat alongside the visitors to share a meal, creating moments of warmth, dignity and human solidarity.
People benefiting from the Dastarkhwan appreciated the quality of the food and the arrangements made for serving meals. Their feedback reflected the importance of such initiatives in providing accessible food facilities to people in need.
Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust continues to support vulnerable communities through its welfare initiatives, with the Dastarkhwan programme providing meals to people regardless of their circumstances.
The visit highlighted the spirit of compassion, respect and shared humanity that underpins the initiative.
The organisation’s message remains clear: “Food for Everyone — Let No One Go Hungry.”
